Provisionally Licensed – Child/Adolescent Therapist Employment Opportunity

Growing private practice specializing in anxiety and trauma seeks a skilled, anti-rascist, pre-licensed clinician to work on a part-time, fee for service basis in a comfortable and professional environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide comprehensive psychosocial intakes and individual and family therapy
  • Work with child survivors of sexual abuse and their non-offending parents
  • Maintain clinical file including intake summary, documentation and authorizations for collateral contacts
  • Be available on
    • Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday (and/or Sunday)
    • Wednesday, Saturday (and/or Sunday)
    • Part-time to Full-time status possible
  • Develop community relationships, network and market

 

Employment Qualifications:

  • Licensed in the state of NJ to provide mental health services (LSW, LAC, MA, PsyD, PhD)
  • Clinical experience with children and teens during internship or externship
  • Have the ability to join well and maintain ongoing relationships with parents, youth, and adults while maintaining confidentiality
  • Have experience with a variety of diagnosis and crisis situations
  • Enjoy working with parents and youth 5 to 19 years old
  • Be able to work independently
  • Demonstrate cultural humility and awareness and dedication to antiracism
  • Experience with trauma specific therapies (TF-CBT, EMDR), exposure therapy, play therapy, parent therapies, and/or family therapies
  • Experience with LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and ethnically diverse populations. Lived experience valued.

  • Weekly supervision with a clinical psychologist (We do not currently have a LCSW who can supervise for licensure purposes.)

Benefits
  • Pay $36-$44 per session
